For those annoyed by stoners or 420...

I'm at the point where I just want cannabis to be regulated like wine. Not just like medicine, but be able to buy it & consume it as you would wine or beer....simple as that. The other benefits are a bonus that would allow many people to make legal money & small businesses. The community of people who enjoy smoking it are similar to beer enthusiast. 

There are days in America celebrated so people can have an excuse to drink & party. Possibly get drunk if they choose to...Mardi Gras, St. Patricks day, New Years Eve, Memorial Day, Labor Day. People drink while watching major sporting events, at family gatherings, on vacations. Part of the fun for many adults is going to places like Las Vegas or Cancun & getting intoxicated. 

Why not allow the already millions of adults who would rather get a buzz from cannabis instead of alcohol? Variety is the slice of life. This is where I'm at on it. We already have laws in place to police those who abuse alcohol by driving, selling it or giving it to minors, drinking in public...now just add cannabis to those laws. 

Everybody wins. People are free to consume something they find pleasure with, small businesses make money, the government gets a little more money & the production of products from the hemp/cannabis plant will add more jobs to a struggling job market. Imagine if alcohol was still in prohibition, now imagine all the people you have ever known getting in trouble from law enforcement by simply enjoying something they find pleasure in.

Will some people abuse it, yes. But people get drunk & fall out of windows, get hit by cars & do some serious dumb things. That's their personal responsibility. Let's stop being a nanny state to our adult population.

The users of cannabis wouldn't annoy many people on 4/20 if they didn't risk losing their jobs & various other freedoms for doing an act that effects no one but the user. Dumb laws deserve no respect & that's why so many break that law. Yes I even get sick of all the 420 stuff, it's so cliche...but so is all the hoopla about getting drunk on St. Patty's Day. Green beer anyone?Thank You,

This is coming from former user who if given the choice if both were legal would always choose cannabis over alcohol. Just like you may enjoy a beer over a whiskey.
